Good morning respected teachers and my dear friends!!
I am here to give you my thoughts on Swami Vivekananda.
Of those who started a new awakening in India, Swami Vivekananda was unequal. Swamiji was born in 1863. He was named Narendranath. Further, he was rewarded with a vision, a smart, intelligent mind, and liberal thinking. He was from a highly educated and wealthy family. He did his primary education in English.
His family name is Narendranath Dutta. His father, Viswanath Dutta, was well-versed in English and Persian. Professionally, he is a successful lawyer in the Calcutta High Court. His mother was a charismatic woman who had influenced Naren from her childhood. He first taught Naren an English lesson, then introduced him to the Bengali alphabet.
At the Metropolitan Institution of Calcutta, Naren was educated. After passing the entrance test, he joined the General Assembly established by the Scottish General Missionary Board (later renamed the Scottish Church College) in Calcutta, from which he received his B.A. Tests, and practiced law. But since his father’s death, his family’s financial condition has not allowed him to sue for further study.
He was a good singer. Once, Ramakrishna Paramahamsa heard him singing the Bhakti Song and asked the young man to visit him at Dakshineshwar; where he was a priest in the Kali temple.
Since childhood, Naren has been keen to see God face to face. He had asked many religious men about his wish in the past, but no one satisfied him. Now this god-man of Dakshineswar is telling him that anyone can see him as God in the same pure form. He doesn’t believe his words.
He wanted the saints to prove him. Over time, he experienced that beautiful divine in his life. He became the most influential disciple of the saint. His teacher taught him that God lives in every human being. So, by serving humanity, we can serve God.

With this teaching, he founded the Ramakrishna Mission, in his later life, to this day, his mission is engaged in voluntary social service for the poor and suffering from caste, creed, and religion.
Naren was later named ‘Swami Vivekananda’ after becoming a monk. He traveled to America in 1893 to attend the World Religious Parliament in Chicago. In his lengthy speech, Swami Vivekananda explained to the world that God is one and that different religions are like different rivers (or paths). Samudra (same destination).
Therefore, there should be no dispute among the preachers of different religions that they worship God in various forms or with different beliefs. Understanding the eternal truth of God can prevent hatred in people. Swamiji’s ideas were much appreciated, and many American men and women became his disciples, who later joined the Ramakrishna Mission.
Vivekananda was the first Hindu monk from India to visit America. Thoroughly inspired by Providence’s desire, he embarked on this journey to the New World. Unknown nomadic monks lost on the streets of Chicago became famous after a brief speech on the first day of parliament.
Vivekananda presents humanity to the world – the divine spirit, the pure essence that can make all the non-dual, homeless, and hopeless people realize the dream of one world. He introduced a new world order in which science and religion cooperate, spirituality blends with humanism, and spiritual harmony replaces much of the tension.
He deceased on the 4th of July, 1902, after a second, a short time in the West. His lectures and works are grouped into nine volumes. A spiritual genius that commands intelligence and power, Vivekananda has achieved much labor and success in his short life.
