There are two parts of the human brain. One is a Conscious mind and another subconscious mind when a person awakes his conscious and subconscious mind both works. 

While a person awake or sleeps, his subconscious mind always works. The subconscious mind never sleeps. The subconscious represents around 90 percent of the total capacity of the human brain.

It focuses on the right side of the brain and associates with the autonomic nervous system. It explains that the unconscious mind holds all experiences.

The subconscious always awakes up even when we sleep. This proposes that the unconscious mind always acts on a simple set of guidelines. Our subconscious mind is like the RAM on the computer.

(For those who do not know – RAM is a term for short-term memory in a computer, and its task is to store user programs and data so that the computer processor can quickly and easily access them. 

The human subconscious mind works a similar way to the computer’s RAM that stores short-term memory and current daily programs. The subconscious also plays a vital role in our everyday functioning.

It works hard to provide everything need for quick recall and access when persons need it.

How does the subconscious mind work?

One of the great things in the subconscious mind is that it executes orders promptly! People often mistakenly think that the subconscious mind is responsible and persons are only at its mercy.

It is quite the opposite. The conscious mind gives its direction as the environment in which it works. The subconscious only provides emotions, feelings, and perceptions as human still think about it.

Now it is as smooth and changeable what a person thinks in a moment, and our whole life will change. In most cases, the default programs have too much energy to change immediately.

However, this can be done – for example, after a tremendous life-changing event or if there is sufficient pain associated with the old life, old programs will likely reappear. Remember that the unconscious is more profound in mind.

The subconscious and the conscious mind have direct connections with each other. The unconscious mind is a basement, an underground library, all human memories, habits, behaviors, and deep-rooted emotions that programs in the subconscious mind since birth.

If a person wants significant changes at a basic level, this is a place to work. However, it is difficult to get! Unconscious and subconscious – what is the difference?

There was much discussion about the – subconscious or unconscious. Unconsciousness is the term preferred by psychologists and psychiatrists when referring to thoughts we have “out of reach” of our consciousness.

It should not confuse with the medical term unconscious, which means knockout or anesthesia, although both definitions have similar characteristics. The unconscious is a place to store all of our memories that have been suppressed.

 It is a memory that we cannot draw according to our choice. It is there, but we cannot remember it, no matter how hard we try.

Some psychoanalytical methods can restore these memories (such as hypnosis) or can trigger by a specific event (smell, public place, etc.). The critical matter to recall here is that by choice, we cannot remember anything without our awareness a special event or technique. This is the unconscious mind.

On the other hand, the subconscious is almost the same, but the main difference is that we can remember. Memories are closer to the thinking pattern of individual and more comfortable to access with a little focus.

For example, if I ask to remember your phone number, it can quickly put it into your conscious thought. The exciting thing is that before asking you for a reminder, you did not think about it at all. It stores in the subconscious mind so you can easily recall it if need, like RAM in the computer because it is something that it needs to remember regularly. If, however, it was not so important to remember the phone number so often, then it may be stored a little deeper, and as a result, when you are asked to have a phone number in place, it may have difficulty remembering it.

The unconscious mind deals with the same tasks as the subconscious – memory, habits, feelings, emotions, and behaviors. The difference between these two minds is that the unconscious holds the source of all programs that the subconscious uses.

It is a place where all the memories and experiences from birth are stored. These memories include human’s beliefs, habits, and behaviors and are shaped and strengthened on how to change your life.

If you want to changes your life at a basic level, work on the programs that take place in the subconscious. There are particular ways to achieve this, and if you read a whole series of these articles, you will know that the place where it can do is the conscious mind.

Make the subconscious mind to believe something as required. This is a story that happened to me a few years ago. My mother suffered from depression and fought for life and death in a hospital bed.

However, thanks to God’s grace and the treatment of doctors, she finally recovered. It was one of the difficult phases of my life that influenced me mentally and financially. It was also a time when I took up yoga.

Everyone in their daily life struggles with problems. It transforms problems and often spoils the human mood. Many people are more affected than others and fall victim to some mental illness.

There is a simple and effective solution to this problem, i.e., practicing meditation. It is meditation yoga that anyone can do for 10-15 minutes a day or twice a week. 

All you have to do sit down on the floor, close the eyes, and try to calm your thoughts., thousands of thoughts rush through our minds that distract us from being in the present.

How to control the subconscious?

1. Write about your feeling

It keeps high power in writing. Take an empty list, pencil, sit down, and start writing. Set a timer with a countdown of 10 minutes. Write everything that appears in your mind, no matter how useless, weird or funny it may be.

At first, it is difficult to focus, but with constant practice, it will be easy for you to express yourself.

The nature of the goal achievement is subjective thoughts, and the thoughts that contain emotions are often used. It enters in our subconscious mind and consciously influences our thinking patterns.
